However, I bought 2 Flame Tamers (10” diameter flat plate of steel) from Camp Chef which I center over each of the round burners. I then place a griddle or cast iron fry pan on the stove. The Flame Tamers distribute the heat more evenly across the 10” disc and does a much better job of cooking, without burning the food. I also bought a bulk tank adapter to use with the 5 or 20 pound tank. Overall, I’m pleased with this stove and use it frequently when we camp in our RV, since it keeps the smells and heat outside.
